Join us on June 20, 27 & 28, 2009 for our PADI Open Water Class in Wisconsin Rapids.
How it works? To become an Open Water Diver, you will receive three days of instruction from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Each day, the first three hours will be devoted to classroom work and the following three
hours will be a pool session to practice the skills you learned about in the classroom. Once you have successfully completed your classroom and pool work, you will attend a weekend at Lake Wazee in Black River
Falls to complete you Open Water Dives. You will complete four open water dives over two days. Once that is complete, you will be a certified PADI Open Water Diver,
which will qualify you to dive anywhere in the world.
What personal gear do you need to own? Personal gear that you will need to participate includes: mask, fins, boots and snorkel. You should purchase this
equipment at a dive shop so they can be properly fitted for you.
What is the cost? The course fee is $249 per person. This includes the classroom sessions, pool sessions, four open
water dives, course study materials, and equipment usage in the pool (not including your personal gear). It does not include equipment rental for the four open water dives,
which costs $60 for the entire weekend.
What else should I know? To enroll for the class, c all Klein Scuba in Wausau at 715-675-6722 or stop in to register and pick up your student kit. You will need to pre-study the materials before
the first class and also watch a video prior to class.
