You still have time to become a certified scuba diver this summer! Join us on August 8, 14 & 15 for our PADI Open Water Class in Antigo, WI
How it works? To become an Open Water Diver, you will receive three days of instruction
from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Each day the first three hours will be devoted to classroom work and the following three hours will be a pool session to practice the skills you learned about in the classroom. The classroom and pool
sessions will be done at the Clara McKenna Aquatic Center in Antigo, WI. Once you have successfully completed your classroom and pool work, your open water dives will be completed at
Lake Wazee in Black River Falls, WI. Remaining dates for Lake Wazee weekends are: August 28 & 29, September 11 & 12, October 2 & 3, and
October 23 & 24. You will complete four open water dives over two days. If you have a trip planned to scuba dive and prefer to do your open water
dives there, we will give you a referral form so you can do that. Once your open water dives are complete, you will be a certified PADI Open Water Diver, which is recognized world wide.
What personal gear do you need to own? Personal gear that you will
need to participate includes: mask, fins, boots and snorkel. You should purchase this equipment at a dive shop so they can be properly fitted for you.
